Just wanted to swing by quickly and say Happy Mother's Day to everyone!  Getting ready to drive 2 hours out to Cathedral City to surprise my mom with flowers and fun stuff.  I hope everyone has a great day and if possible all the mom's out there get to relax a little.

GOod morning Janine (although it is almost afternoon) and all my cali peeps and HAPPY MOTHERS DAY TO ALL.....I do miss my mom but know that she is with me is spirit - she was the bestest mom ever. I am feeling much better - the cold is going away and I have cabin fever today for sure.  In fact, going to meet my sister at Kohls in a little bit and wander around then going to New York & Company and maybe Ann Taylor Loft - just to get out of the house. Janine I am jealous you got your make up done at MAC - what fun.  We are going to do that before the Cher concert in Vegas in August.  Getting all ready then getting our make up done before the show.....I am excited aobut that. I am a pogo nut too - to those others of you that play.  My screen name is lelacheur1660 - if you ever see me shout out a hello and I will add you to my friends list. Hiya Ms. J and the rest of Cali: You look pretty smokin' in that dress, Janine.  I was looking at your other pix, and you take really good pictures, even when you were at your heaviest, they were still good pictures.  You always have that genuine beautiful smile.  Some people have a fakey smile, but yours isn't. Good afternoon Janine and a very special Happy Mothers Day to you.  I hope all your boys are treating you well.  I wanna hear all about it.  As for my Mothers day, well Patches tried to take the car out with Vicki and get me something, but their daddy caught them trying to get into the car.  Patches was standing on Vicki's back because he can't jump in the car like he used to because he is getting so old.   So daddy put on their leashes and back into the house they came.  They couldn't even bark at their daddy enough to convence him to take them to the store.  So I got nothing today.  I got the house cleaned, but I did most of it, but Dougie is doing the laundry.  YEAH, because I do hate it.   By the way, I saw my cousin Cindy yesterday at my nieces birthday party.  OMG, she is SKINNY!!!  She looks great and feels good and I really enjoyed spending time with them all.  She is loving the surgery she had.  The birthday party was a huge surprise for my niece, it was great.  I mean she had NO clue at all.  Every year for the last 9 years she has been on the road racing her car, this year is the first year that she is not racing, so we HAD to do something for her.  It was a blast.  Nice place there too, I told Doug to have my 60th there and just rent the entire place.  Only bad thing is, it's in Chino Hills, so it will be far for some.  But it's a great place for a party and their food is good. I hope that everyone is having a great day today.  As for me, I will visit with my mom who sits on a shelf in my room later today alone.  Just a little private time.  I miss her alot, it's been 3 years and it is not getting any easier. Yes, I've been busy having too much fun... a ton of funny wows this week and we all know boys are silly...

Today I found a great recliner in the 'dented can' area at Mathis Bros. $300 for a $1400 leather recliner... also, someone delivered it within the hour out of their own car for half-price versus what the company charges... would this have happened say 176 lbs. ago? Probably not, but who the hell cares!!! LMAO!!! It was white glove treatment too. The guy even wiped the feet off with a damp towel as not to scratch the floor and positioned it.

So, I have my recliner for my recovery. My primary care doctor will have my second letter faxed to my plastic surgeon this week. With each step I'm that much closer!
